How long have you been hairdressing?

I’ve been hairdressing for 20 years. I’ve had the opportunity to work in some great salons throughout my career, including Toni & Guy. I’ve loved every stage of my journey.

What do you love about hairdressing?

I love making people feel good about themselves. There’s nothing better than seeing a client leave the salon feeling confident and happy with their hair. I also love the creative side of hairdressing and the fact that no two clients are ever the same.

What are your favourite hairstyles/colours?

I love creating beautiful, natural-looking colour, especially blondes, highlights and soft, dimensional tones. When it comes to styling, I love effortless, modern looks that suit the individual and are easy for clients to recreate at home.

If you could style any celebrity’s hair, who would you choose and why?

Jennifer Aniston — I love her timeless, effortless style and all the different variations of her iconic hair over the years.

Who or what inspires you?

My clients inspire me. I love seeing how a new colour, cut or style can completely transform someone’s confidence. Fashion, current trends and other talented hairdressers also inspire me.

What would your desert island 3 haircare essentials be?

A really good shampoo and conditioner, a nourishing hair mask and a good styling product — because even on a desert island, the hair still needs to look good!

Do you have any hobbies?

I love spending time with the people I’m close to, going out for nice meals, travelling and enjoying a bit of downtime. I also love anything related to interiors and making a space feel like home.

What is your ultimate ambition?

To continue doing what I love, keep developing my skills and build a loyal clientele who trust me with their hair and enjoy coming to see me.
