Eco Friendly Hair Salon  

We at Gavin Ashley, are on a mission to salon sustainability and are proud to be the first hair salon in Bury St Edmunds to collaborate with @greensaloncollective. We will now recycle, compost and recover hair, used foils, empty colour tubes, chemicals, PPE, plastic, paper and even salon towels!!

Your hair can even be recycled too! Green Salon Collective is working on hair boom and matt projects that could see your hair soaking up an oil spill, and they will also be using it for gardening and composting too.

To join Green Salon Collective we’ve decided to add a £1.50 “green fee” to each client visit. So now when you see us in the salon, you’ll be helping us to save our planet too!

Deposits & Cancellations

Please note: A 50% deposit is required for all appointments.  

Salon Green Fee: A ‘green free’ of £1.50 will be automatically added onto your bill as a contribution towards helping the environment and our planet.

Need to cancel? At Gavin Ashley we value our customers and your appointments are very important to us. Please understand that when you forget or cancel your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive services. For this reason, we respectfully ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, or need to reschedule, please be kind enough to let us know 48hrs prior. This 48 hour notice is required to retain your deposit and to avoid a 50% cancellation fee.

While some people come to Gavin Ashley to unwind and relax while we work on your hair, others like to chat or stay connected using our free Wi-Fi access. We offer complimentary refreshments during your appointment which can be made six days a week with late opening times on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
